As a non-profit ILWG mission is to offer support for Individual Indian landowners and their interests. The ILWG Board will at times pass resolutions in support of “Calls to Action” relating to our mission and goals. These resolutions state the action the board is taking in response to concerns related to the ILWG’s mission as a non-profit support for Indian Land Owners.
In taking a stand on Indian land we view the occupation of the National Malheur Wildlife Refuge by armed individuals as an act of terrorism and a manifest injustice to all citizens. Particularly to the PBT (Burns Paiute Tribe) as we all all know that the National Malheur Wildlife Refuge was an Indian encampment and the ancestral home of the Paiute people known as “Wadatika.”
